Animated Anniversary Promotion

Client: RTD (Regional Transportation District)

In 2019, RTD celebrated two major milestones: the agency's 50th anniversary, and the light rail system's 25th anniversary. To promote these anniversaries online, a video for each was created. For each video, I had the opportunity to provide creative direction and produced final animation design using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere. The final animations were shared on RTD's social media channels and website.

Agency 50th Anniversary Video

Leading up to the agency's 50th anniversary, customer appreciation events were held at various rail stations to build awareness. "Happy 50th Birthday" signs were created, which customers could take a selfie with to post on their social media accounts, and be included in the animated video. The video was a tribute and thank you to all customers who have ridden RTD over the years.

Light Rail System 25th Anniversary Video

For the light rail system's 25th anniversary, a collection of nostalgic photos were collected from over the years, from previous rail line opening events to promotional material. This was a digital way to reflect on the progress made over the years, as well as a way to thank customers who had used the light rail system over the years.
